Driving From Newark Airport - 18 Miles

• Take the New Jersey Turnpike North which is also 95 North to the Lincoln Tunnel exit 16E Exit at 42nd Street Westbound to 10th Avenue & make a right
• Take 10th Avenue Northbound to 79th Street (at 59th Street it will turn into Amsterdam Avenue, this is ok) Take Amsterdam Avenue to 81st street & make a right, go one block past Columbus Avenue and The Excelsior Hotel is on the left.  

Driving From JFK Airport - 18 Miles

• Take the Van Wyck Expressway Northbound  to the Grand Central Parkway/Triboro Bridge
• Take the Triboro Bridge to Manhattan to the FDR Drive South, exit at 96th Street
• Take 97th Street Westbound through Central Park to Columbus Avenue & make a left onto Columbus Avenue
• Take Columbus Avenue to 81st street, make a left and The Excelsior Hotel is on the left.  

Driving From Long Island & Points East Via 495

• Take the Long Island Expressway Westbound which is 495 to the Grand Central Parkway / Triboro Bridge
• Take the Triboro Bridge to Manhattan to the FDR Drive South, exit at 96th Street Take 97th Street Westbound through Central Park to Columbus Avenue & make a left onto Columbus Avenue
• Take Columbus Avenue to 81st street and make a left, The Excelsior Hotel is on the left.

Driving From LaGuardia Airport - 10 Miles

• Take the Grand Central Parkway/Triboro Bridge.  Take the Triboro Bridge to Manhattan to the FDR Drive South, exit at 96th Street
• Take 97th Street Westbound through Central Park to Columbus Avenue & make a left onto Columbus Avenue

Driving From Upstate New York Via 87

• Take 87 South to 287, take 87/287 East to the Palisades Parkway to the George Washington Bridge cross the bridge and exit at the Henry Hudson Parkway South (Downtown) Exit at 79th Street
• Take 79th Street Eastbound to Amsterdam Avenue make a left and proceed to 81st street make a right and go one block past Columbus avenue, The Excelsior Hotel is on the left.   

Driving From Northern New Jersey

• Take the George Washington Bridge to the Henry Hudson Parkway Southbound to the 79th Street exit Take 79th Street Eastbound to Amsterdam Avenue, make a left and proceed to 81st street, make a right go one block past Columbus Avenue and The Excelsior Hotel is on the left.
